Synchro in Rockefeller Center today!
That’s right. You heard me correctly.
As a part of their summer kick-off, TLC has set up a big water tank in the middle of Rock Center! Swing by anytime between 11am and 7pm to see Sync or Swim’s Lauren McFall and other friends of ours as they show off their synchro skills live and in person. The tourists in midtown will surely get a treat today!!
It’s almost like the “live” version of TLC’s great promos which feature sychro swimmers (great idea, TLC).
So if you go watch some synchro and take some pictures of the spectacle, send them our way and we’ll post them on the blog!

Anthology after party photo booth fun!
Yup, that’s Sync or Swim’s Lauren McFall and I having some photo booth fun after our Anthology Film Archives screening earlier this week.

Synchronized Swimming in a New York City Cab.
2004 Olympic Team Captain Lauren McFall (who’s featured in Sync or Swim) was watching Taxi TV in a cab yesterday on one of those newfangled (and often overwhelming) TV screens when an NBC Olympic quiz came up….
Which summer Olympic sport involves moves known as a “swordfish”, “heron” and “catalina?”
a. diving
b. water polo
c. synchronized swimming
The answer, of course, is synchronized swimming. Needless to say, she got the quiz right. Synchro in a cab…who’d a thunk?
