USA Today thinks we are cool!
Well, at least that’s what I took away from them listing Sync or Swim under the headline “Cool stuff on DVD today: ‘The Green Hornet’ and more.” Check it out for yourself below!

NY Times features Synchro in “Memorable Moments” of Sports 2010
Okay, we can’t help but totally LOVE this!
In the midst of the photos of baseball, football, soccer, more football, and the Winter Olympics, was SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING listed as one of the NY Times photo Memorable Moments of Sports 2010!!
This great photo was probably taken while they were working on this November article about synchro and Le Rêve!
Congrats, synchro! We love you…and clearly the New York Times does, too!

TONY makes requisite SNL joke in Sync or Swim listing
Okay, sure they listed all of the MoMA Doc Fortnight movies in the Film section of Time Out New York this week (February 19-25 issue). Nevertheless, I still got pretty giddy when I saw Sync or Swim there on page 78. And dispite the fact that, perhaps by some contractual obligation, they yielded their synchro snark…giddy I remain.
[UPDATE: The night after I saw the page above I had some awful TONY listing-inspired dreams. I dreamed that after I turned the master tape of the Sync or Swim to MoMA, someone had inserted two scenes of completely random (and thoroughly extraneous) pop culture references into the film. From Bart Simpson to Superman, it was all in there. I woke up extremely upset but, unless the MoMA staff has been up to some tomfoolery, I’m pretty sure the “Director’s Cut” remains intact.]
