Harlem Honeys and Bears synchro team performs at Harlem Week
The Harlem Honeys and Bears are a group of 50+ year old synchro swimmers from Harlem. Their motto:
Breaking boundaries…
Making waves…
Redefining what it means to be a “senior” in America…
Great NY Times article about them here from last year. If you want to see the Honeys in action, check out their performance at Harlem Week on Saturday, August 16th. The entire event lasts from 9-4 but the synchronized swimming is featured from 11-1. Now, go forth and Honey!
