Our First Screening!!!!

Sorry to keep you all hanging for a few days.  We’ve been really busy here at Slamdance. We spent most of the day on Sunday putting stickers on the nose clips boxes, ‘cause that’s how we spell swag.  I was pretty nervous all day on Sunday.  Desptie the fact that it’s hard to stand out here in Park City because there are so many movies showing, both of our screenings were SOLD OUT!!  It was a bit of a zoo at the theater before the screening - in a good way.  People were very excited to see the movie (and very excited to get the nose clips). 

The screening went really well.  There were ooos, ahhhs, gaps, laughter, tears and lots of applause when the credits rolled.  We had a great Q&A. There were lots of people at the screening who were vital to bringing the movie to the screen - Producer Amanda Keropian, DP Laela Kilbourn, Editor Michael Culyba, Associate Producer Cristin Frodella and Assistant Editor Robert La Rocca.  

And I was so very honored to have several people from the film in attendance as well.  Olympic Coach Chris Caver, Team Captain Lauren McFall, and Trainer Dr. Don Chu were all there at the screening with us.  That was an amazing experience!  Hard to describe, really, so for now I’ll leave you with some pictures:
